I like to think of myself as an innately happy person. I love my life. I love my husband, the writer Steve Davis, and our wonderful kids. My dogs and cats are exceptional!

I have a BFA in Painting and Ceramics and a Master's in Public History. I have worked in the History field (or closely related) since 2002. Along the way I had to set art aside to develop a relationship with my best friend/husband, and raise 2 children.

The Southwest School of Art in downtown San Antonio has been instrumental in helping me renew my love of creating and of clay.

I've been in a few shows in my intermittent art career including the Dallas Women's Caucus for Art, The Art Hop in Georgetown, the Southwest School of Art's annual exhibit (received best in Ceramics in 2014 for Family Values), and a few others.
